I’ve been on 2004 for about a month now, it’s fairly stable. Only thing that was messed up was my mouse control panel, but I blame Logitech for that.

WSL2 is great and I used it to build LibreELEC.

Just let it go...it will probably complete. Win10 can hang at a spot on updates sometimes, but in my experience usually gets past it eventually. I’ve never had update issues with it on my own computer yet!

Right here! But I really do actually have nothing against Win10 either....I’ve never had any issues with updates with it and it’s always been perfectly stable, as was Win7 which I had before that, so I like Win10 as well. :)

I do like Linux just a little bit more though (at least Linux Mint MATE 19.3 which is what is on my laptop and HTPC atm!). :)

Went through this Friday night, but it did its thing sometime after I fell asleep & it had completed with no fuckery by the time I woke up Saturday.

Have a beverage & ignore it ;-)

I only have the WIP version on my computers for WSL 2, as well. All versions have been quite stable for most of Win10’s history, even these cutting edge prerelease ones.
