If the question is what car deserves this kind of treatment then the MX5 (Miata) is not the answer here, it doesn’t deserve this done to it

If I saw that a month ago I would of said, that’s bad, but three weeks ago I saw an Audi TT, driven by someone in his late 60s, matt black paint, with contrasting matt blue paint, not in your typical two tone style but in what I can only describe as o rganised randomness with giant fart can exhausts. I didn’t take a picture as I didn’t want the image corrupting my phone.

The flares and front splitter I can get behind but good god those decals are just all over the place in terms of sensibility

I didn’t dare go round the back of it, who knows how large the exhaust tips were but yep he certainly covered everything else

wheels need spacing out to complete the flared arches look but as they’re still stock track it doesn’t look great

There are parts of that I don’t hate. But even if you took all the parts that “aren’t bad”, even those would still be too much all together. The front lip isn’t bad, the fenders, if better executed (body color, wheel and tires to fill), wing if it were an honest to God track car. Door decal could work by itself. I’m amused by the wrc stickers....

But on the whole? That poor Miata.

I was gonna say I’d give them a pass on the lights, wings and flares if they actually rallied it. B ut given how immaculate and shiny that front splitter is this is clearly a poorly executed poser job.
