Agreed. Blue is true. My front porch roof and floor is painted “Hai nt Blue,” traditionally thought to ward off evil spirits. It’s a nice touch.

Disregarding the obviously nonsensical implication that blue is better than yellow...

(Blue is also very hard to search for in a photo library because blue skies abound.)

It is much more the same saturation as the yellow in person. Looks a little washed out in this photo, but it complements almost any color.

That’s a traditional color. It’s supposed to deter wasps from building nests by making them think they’re looking at the sky.

Blue is fantastic but I never like black wheels, they hide the design of the wheel imo. Gunmetal is much better imo

I stood and looked at it for a bit and couldn’t figure out how it turned enough to parallel park.

There is also a light blue Ford LTD Crown Victoria that my neighbor used to daily that I haven’t seen in a while. Vinyl top too! No pictures of it but it wears it as good as the caddies.

Blue is the best interior light color. Red is nice but maybe a bit over aggressive.

I leave it o n a smooth alternating. One of the colors is a dead ringer for the color of the gauges but my camera kept taking the picture after it cycled to the dark purplish.

Now that would be something interesting. I suggest another test - paint one of the lamps the same shade of blue and see if the wasps nest in it.

Speaking of wasps, my WRX has been parked long enough for wasps to move into the driver’s side mirror. I thought taking if for a drive would deter them, but the ones on the nest just stayed put and when I pulled into the driveway, at least one wasp immediately landed on the mirror and crawled inside. I guess she was wondering where her home had disappeared to.

The Mk5 Polo is the size of what the Golf used to be with the last two gens of Polo looking very similar to the current and previous gen Golf.

Someone has to buy them in bulk after all before the US can get maybe one or two and sell all of a dozen before it is deemed a failure. I’ve seen around 3 TourXs (Opel Insignia I think) on the road. Even then they’ve disguised it as a crossover.

Every once in a while I discover just how annoying it can be not to be able to see past a car because of the high beltline. It would be better if everyone drove a car the same height.

Unfortunately more and more are drifting away from regular cars to taller ones for ‘superior views of the road’ (bullshit, your on your bloody mobile, it wouldn’t matter if they were facing backwards or sat flat on the floor like in a Caterham 7), the safety and security of it’s size (ye’, again, because your not paying any attention to any of your surroundings other than Instbook, Youface, twitgram, etc...) and if you hit someone, at least you’ll be okay, or to show people you have money (even though you’ve remortgaged the house to the hilt, your truck is on a nine year finance plan that you can’t afford).

To be fair, I hardly ever see any Vauxhall Insignia Grand Sport, Sports Tourer and Country Tourer either .

We just got the plastic clad one. I think Volvo could sell a ton of Cross Countries if they told anyone they offer them. Never seen one from the current gen.

My Cruze is actually the easiest to see out of modern car I’ve ever sat in. Low belt line and big greenhouse means even though my seat is nearly all the way down I’ve got a great view all around. Don’t need a backup camera but I wouldn’t turn one down.

Trucks are really expensive - very much luxury items - but people don't judge you for a 60 grand F150 while a 10 grand used BMW means you're rich (all your money goes into repairs so no).

Anything to get a Focus. A friend of mine drives a hand me down Focus wagon of that generation that was different from yours in the early 2000s. They didn't sell that many but people had nothing to replace them with so they held onto them for a long time. There's still a market.
