A really good family friend was a deputy sheriff and investigator for the DA’s office for decades, and he also has a great sense of humor. A t his retirement party his specific request was that this song be played. Some of the more buttoned-down law enforcement types in the room did not appreciate it as much as he did, which made it even better.
