I built this a few years ago, an then it got damaged in a terrible indoor basketball accident. You can tell from the top wing how long it’s been sitting on top of my bookcase. I’m fairly certain I still have all the parts. We’ll see.....

It is. All the control surfaces move with the stick.

And no I’m dead in the water because I’m missing some critical pieces to the control surfaces. And they’re weird pieces that won’t appear in my giant collection of various Lego. I’m pissed.

Moving flaps? Fancy.
You’re halfway there to making a decent diorama of it crashed.

Well, I’m dead in the water right now because I’m missing some critical, non-standard pieces. So the chance of finding them in my Lego hoard of assorted pieces is slim to none. If I want to finish the resto, I’ll have to order the parts from Lego.

Better get them over nighted from Japan.

Mine suffered a similar fate probably 15 years ago, might have to go looking around my parents house for it, I’m sure the pieces are there somewhere!

I’m with Lanciere. Repurpose with some figures like it had a nose over landing accident. Not being a Lego guy.. do they do landscapes? Emergency figures? Disappointed flight instructors/ground crewmen? Red faced pilots?

Snoopy would be pleased.
