I watched about two minutes of this and that was all I needed to confirm what I’d already decided, which was not to watch the film. In particular, the remark that if a Roger Moore Bond film had a $100 million budget, this is what they’d have come up with. Also, in particular, Roger Moore was pathetically worst Bond.

Agreed. George Lazenby > Roger moore.

Then again, I think george > connery/dalton as well.

I would have loved to see at least one more with George. OHMSS is such a great movie! Certainly way better than Connery sleepwalking through Diamonds.

My personal favorite now is Dalton. His movies could have probably done with some better production value (mainly License), but whatever. I really like his take on Bond.

As for Pierce, I was OK with Goldeneye and really like Tomorrow Never Dies. After that, the movies really let him down. His take on Bond was fine for me, but his third & fourth movie are just unwatchable. I watched them both in the theater and then maybe once more on DVD or TV and that’s it. Probably 20 years later and zero desire to revisit them. I’ll gladly watch The Thomas Crown Affair rather than his later Bonds.

I think I was the primary demographic this was marketed to and at the time loved it. But it has not aged well.

I think diamonds is my most hated film in the series. The Moore ones are campy but like an episode of burn notice, I kN ow what I’m getting into

I don’t think I have seen Lazenby; I had not heard of him.

Daniel Craig was my personal favorite. Of those that I’ve seen... My mother thought Sean Connery was a hunk, but I thought he was a mediocre Bond .

Haha, haven’t watched the video yet, but I know Die Another Day is usually not a fan favorite.

That said, I really liked it haha! I think Bond is best when there is a cheese factor. To me, Bond has to be over the top. There needs to be a hint of supernatural. The jet packs, the lasers, the Aston’s with missile launchers, even the circular saw yoyos (all taken totally seriously) are what make this franchise fun to me.

Die Another Day had a great mix of real life scenarios and over the top action. After Goldeneye, it is the best Bronsan.

The World is Not Enough is one of the worst Bonds, full stop

Lazenby was an idiot, he was offered more movies but his agent or something said he would be typecast if he kept doing 007. Then where did he go? So dumb, he could have had a run similar to the other actors.

I don’t really give a shit about the stuff they are talking about but I love these guys. You got me hooked on them with some star wars stuff awhile back.

They are hilarious even though I have no real interest in their subject matter.

Die another day, went full camp, and though it isn’t as great as i used to hold it, has a spot. The world is not enough is a weird one, its just not bad, it’s irritating on top of its badness that that draws out hatred.
