I can’t see someone picking this up as an investment. But as they say, there’s an ass for every seat. Maybe there is one person out there that wants a minty fresh 90s pickup. But there is nothing special about this one other than the low miles, not a special edition of any kind. Seems like a tough sell.

What is that ziptie even doing? It’s not cinch ed tight enough to be holding something together, and who even uses one and doesn’t trim the tail?

On both the 2016 mustang and 2017 F-150 there were more than a few factory zip ties without the ends trimmed at. It’s shoddy enough manufacturing to not use flush cutters, but Detroit can’t even be bothere d trim them at all. ...quality is job none.

I was wondering that myself. Looks like they’re using it to keep the keys with the vehicle.

That is a fantastic truck, which I would love to own ... But that price is batshitcrazypants!

Ive driven one of these for work. They are pure 100% garbage. CP all day.

The (otherwise awesome) mechanic I use sometimes for my El Camino used a zip tie to hang a plug wire away from the headers. It was a nice, if misguided, gesture as all he needed to do was flip the plug boot over at and it served the same purpose. The point is he didn’t trim the zip tie end and I questioned everything he had ever touched as a result.

K ind of an odd color to preserve like this, isn’t it? Seems to me that when a truck is so well-looked-after and/or set aside for the future , they always seem to start off by selecting a truck with a color like red, or black, or perhaps some other two-tone combo... This b lue on blue is an unusual choice that I’d nearly forgotten e ver existed without being rusted all to hell.

This is local to me--used dealer that mostly sells late model stuff, leaning mostly towards trucks and performance cars.

I like that color scheme. But I am also weird and own a van that looks like an old taco bell cup.

Can confirm operators do not cut the tails. Something about excessive tasks on the job.

If this was a 92 SS 454 with this mileage, I can then argue the high price. Since its just a super clean low mile 4x4 thats stupid high. I would say its a $12-15k truck at best.

I want a minty fresh 90s pickup.
I still wouldn’t pay a 1/3rd of this price though

That is just stupid. I’m sure there’s a half dozen grandpa trucks within 50 miles of me , which will likely need some bodywork, but that are just as clean on the inside for a bunch less money. You just gotta find them. Start by looking at the small town obits.

One of the things I like about this particular truck, is the handsome (but admittedly unusual) color scheme. It even has a matching blue interior! I just love it.
