Yes, those are painted, a 25o dollar option I never thought I’d see. 

I wanted to check out the VIN, but it was not showing up any car correctly, it showed a 1987 porsche, which was odd.

The owner approached me and asked what I was doing with his car, which had been street parked for four days. I asked if it was the four or the six cylinder one. He answered the former and I left away.

I think I’d need to drive the 4.0 and 4 cyl side to side in order to really see if the engine is such a big deal... I just think that some car journalists are too obsessed by the 4cyl’s existence that they can’t judge the cars properly.

I hope someone at Porsche marketing is listening so that they lend me two of those for, erm, scientific reasons.

You know how dealers need to take in some shitty spec cars in order to get the fancy RS models?

There must be a green 981s with body color rims and brown leather somewhere in the back of a dealer lot on this country that could be lent to me...

I drove a 718 GTS back to back with my 997 X51 (3.8liters, 381bhp).  Just as exciting to drive.
