You guys are totally right, and I have been doing lots of yardwork and cleaning. I cleaned my back garage (band room) instead of attached garage (fiat 850 covered in xmas decor boxes and tax returns) as such I just bought a dean flying v guitar though the $800 I spent would certainly put the fiat on the road. I just havent been driving. Thatll be next I promise. But yeah Im not one to spend too big, or it would be a $2000+ Gibson V coming!

Frugal here. Just saving as much as possible due to obvious reasons . Perfect time to start a project (and many are starting to appear as this goes on) , but trying to minimize spending as much as possible. Some days being frugal are harder than others...

Oh God. I mentioned in another post reply I bought a garage fridge and then the washing machine crapped 2 days later . Sooo....a washer a n d dryer. And through that I finally built A good workbench. And got a computer on line for the kids school. Pissing cash. Can’t stop. Cause now I’m looking at garage tools...and filling in the missing sockets and wrench sizes ...

Harbor Freight now has 3 tool brands.... C hinese , generic, and a not too bad for gifting brand ‘Icon’ . Still can’t buy an individual socket though.

M y assistant picked up a used Buick Cascada for his Sacramento house a while ago and he loves it, (his partner has cash...) It’s even that metallic brown color. It seems like the 4seat convertible market is barely large enough for one vehicle at any one time anymore.

Not around here. The last two months we’ve saved more than in any other months since we bought the house, let alone had the baby. In March it was a third of our income. In April it was over half, not counting the stimulus deposit (I just put that against federal tax in the budget). This month is slightly worse than April, but we have a lot of special days in this month.

We do hope to replace the TV, fridge, washer, and dryer, but all of that can wait until frenzy buying dies down some and supply chains return to normal.

I think the biggest frivolous expenditures this month were the bags of weed and feed, lime, and grass seed. My lawn is almost back to it’s normal swamp-like but covered in a solid blanket of grass state. Last month it was a couple wifi smart switches and a garage door sensor/control device (that sucks severely).
