Mechanicals: a very solid 6/10
Hours sunk: 100+
Number of zip ties: in the 6 digits
Money spent: 2-3x the value of the bike
I love it.

eat your words that’s a solid 10/10.
The bike I’m buying later today, on the other hand. Solid 0/10 at most. Does the scale go negative?

Thanks! They’re actually functional, that’s how you can tell how old it is...

Ooooo, how many miles?
My buddy had to get rid of his YZF600R (Thundercat) just under 60k because of electrical malarky (would randomly quit underway) even the dealer couldn’t solve.
Nice to see the old girls out and about.

28, 000 on the bike, 26,000ish on the motor. Mine would do the same, I ended up pulling out the wiring harness and fixing every bad wire and connector I could find
