Hertz has started offloading its cars. Shame these are all automatics (and also a shame they’d have to drop another 40k for me to afford one).

I think it depends on where they were. If they were in Maui then they could have only been driven so hard given the limited number of places to run it hard . If they were in Las Vegas they probably had the crap beaten out of them.

I think Hertz lots tend to be near the rental agencies, so that might help, but I’d still be leery - the thing will have been floored and hooned a bit no matter where it is from, with the driver having little care - just get the insurance and walk away. But if the price gets low enough, maybe a deal

I just checked my local Hertz sales location to see if there was anything interesting. There weren’t any Corvettes but a few 2019 Caravan Ct’s around $15,000 with 40k miles. There are also a couple of Pacificas for closer to $20,000.

At one point looking into a cross country trip, I was trying to talk a couple friends into renting a cts. Spend 2 days cross the country, then spend a week plus zigzagging back.
