Bought a used 2016 RadPower Bikes RadWagon a few weeks ago. Pretty fun ride. Can’t wait for work to open back up so I can start commuting with this thing.

It’s pretty fun to ride around, throttle is nice to have for starting from stoplights. If I’m heavy on the boost I can get around Atlanta in 90 degree weather without sweating all the way through my shirt. With light pedaling I can maintain about 22mph, and about 25 if I really dig in. Not bad for a 70lb bike.

Very cool. How much does something like that run?

I see Dr. Zoidberg isn’t the only John around here.

Still remember the first time a cargo e-bike passed me on the road bike. Miserably humid and buggy day cursing my way up a steep climb. Certainly not slim guy in baggy cargo shorts and yard sail of a shirt must have decided he had to pick his moment well. Suddenly there he went past me at 20mph on a 12% grade cool as a cucumber not even bothering to pedal.

New $1500, I was able to buy mine for $700 though with 1250 miles.

Although $1500 is a pretty good price compared to other $2000 and $3000 e cargo Bikes.

I’ ve definitely flown by some people on hills. Although I’m somewhat of a cyclist already, have a good entry level mountain bike and a nicer older carbon fiber road bike.

For me the ebike just makes riding easier (duh). It's more accessable. I'm more likely to take it grocery shopping or to work. People might call it cheating, but only if it's replacing bike rides, for me it's replacing car rides.

For commuting to work safely without showing up dripping sweat or going on a grocery run they are great.  Enjoy it.
