Basically the dealer would be selling on behalf of someone else in exchange for a cut of the profits. For oddities like these, it seems more likely than a trade in.

The one on the left got dropped for a Trax. The one on the right went for a Trailblazer. Trade-in was roughly 40 percent MSRP.  Dealer is now trying to get 20 percent up each over MSRP of  a new Silverado.

Those are pretty cool. Most likely not trade in, but something the owner bought at auction. My boss has a classic car showroom in a different town and will usually give us a few to “sell” that we just keep in the showroom for people to look at.

If its for the pair, it might make sense but if not they are quite expensive for how bad they look .

And the 230GE seems to be mostly with a 4 speed automatic, not sure if its the case here .
