Set out to make it look better in the wheel wells thanks to !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!
So I scuffed and cleaned everything, then laid down a couple coats of chassis black:
With that done I decided to give the calipers a little color:
That of course sent me down a rabbit hole in which I ordered my new heavy duty rear leafs, new bushings, and a new hitch for the rear.
So apparently she’ll be sitting longer yet..........

I’m more than a little shocked he avoided colored calipers this long.

How long out are the “non-essential” brakes still? This is bordering upon maddening from even a casual observer’s perspective.

I hadn’t considered that but that is pretty shocking consider the paint work done to this van already.

They were blue at one time years ago.......Had to replace calipers when I upgraded to the Stoptech brakes initially, didn’t have time to paint them.

They were last slated for delivery today, so we’ll see.
The really maddening part is my brakes are “non essential”, yet my grille inserts and wood grain vinyls apparently are..

If they show up today, they’ll be on tonight and I’ll drive her to work tomorrow.
Then it’s just waiting for the new HD springs and she’ll go back under th
e
knife.
