A shame, but they made the right call. In honor of the fest that won’t, a few of my favorite Jeeps from previous years.

That’s a shame.  It’s pretty much a foregone conclusion the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix will be cancelled as well

You could always just parade around and stay in your cars.

But you’re not supposed to be traveling anyway

The problem of course is keeping people from lining up to watch the parade:

That’s way easier if there’s no parade to tempt people (though I’m sure some Jeep people will still be driving around)

You’d think, but Indiana, Wisconsin, Iowa , and Illinois have been a little weird about that.

You’re supposed to stay home, but if you do leave you’ll find parks open (Illinois closed their parks at first, but now they’re open) and if you live in Indiana, the state's favourite offroad park is not only operating but is very busy.

When this all ends I have to meet you one day! I'd love to hear you nerd out about all things Jeep, maybe while digging myself out of a stuck spot at Badlands. lol

Those Jeep front ends with the vented hoods are some of the most handsome vehicles ever minted and the Honcho, if I’m allowed to use that term somewhat generically, are the absolute sharpest-looking pickups ever put on tires. That’s my opinion and anybody who disagrees with me is incorrect.

I don’t even mind the non-ferrous rims, but that’s too much cross section for my personal taste with the tires. Height of the tires is good, I’d just want them a bit narrower.

I haven’t been to an off-road park in years now. Tired of breaking things (a Gambler, I am not). But yeah, we should do l ocal Oppo meetup of some kind. I still want to take people on back roads in southern Indiana sometime.

I don’t know man, PA’s yellow phase still has restrictions on social gatherings of more than 25 people, but it does open retail and services like barbershops , so unfortunately I don’t see the state rushing higher population counties to the green phase. I guess you could argue people don’t really gather together at the PVGP like at a concert or something, but I’m not hopeful.

That will be disappointing. I was very much looking forward to the PVGP this year. Was going to make the drive down from Erie in my Sprite.
