Before scrolling down to see the rest of the ad, I honestly thought some other automaker was casting Toyota as the le as t reliable pickup in this lineup.

The 18RC motor was solid as a stone. Those were decent trucks-but I was a Datsun guy. With a bench seat.

And the Ford Courier + Mazda were the same trucks. To the point the the Ford’s horn button had a Mazda “M” in it!. And the Chevy was an Isuzu.
