And with most rich people I would think that “I’m selling my stuff” would mean selling it to a company they own then leasing it back to themselves at a fraction of the cost but with Elon I expect the comment to just be conveniently forgotten.

I work in corporate reporting for a tech company. Every time I see one of these I shudder thinking how horrible it would be to work in external reporting, investor relations, or some such group like that at Tesla.

Fun fact - I actually rejected a job in a similar position at Tesla 5 years ago...so glad I didn’t have to find out the answer to my wondering noted above in person. So thankful to have sane and competent leadership, goes a long way alleviating work stresses.
