I’m thinking about making more Lego birds for a possible Bird w atc hing with awesomeaustinv! sequel. I’m not sure which one to start with, though. Here are some ideas I’m bouncing around:
American Robin. We get lots of these around here, so it seems like a good idea.
Cardinal. Because they’ve got that poofy head thing going on.
Red Cheeked Cordon Bleu. It’s an exotic species of finch, and, well, it just looks pretty. Also they weigh about the same as three pennies.
Skylark. Because Skylark.
I don’t know what to start first, so vote on it. More ideas for birds would also be appreciated.

Cardinal, but really you should do an oriole.
I wouldn’t be opposed to you doing a Robin and a Reliant Robin though.

Take the challenge of using bricks to make something smooth. Chimney Swift aka the cigar bird aka the bastards that keep returning to my chimney and ultimately finding themselves into (and trapped in) my house. They sure do eat a lot of bugs though.

What, no blue jays? You should do blue jays.
This reminds me that the robins in my backyard are seriously plump. I have no idea how they manage to reach that size, let alone fly. I need to get my camera out with the long lens and take pictures of a few of them.

R oadrunner!
It is kinda car related but my Lego loving kids would like a roadrunner or hummingbird. We also have lots of quail around but those are not as cool

I’ve done blue jays already. You can see it in my original bird watching post: https://oppositelock.kinja.com/bird-watching-with-awesomeaustinv-1843092753?rev=1588306161034
Or my recent post on how to build Lego birds.

I like that! The little fella’s cute. And the grey and white color scheme shouldn’t be too hard to pull off. I’ll consider that one.

Hadn’t even thought of doing a Reliant Robin... that’d be great!

I tried to find them before posting my comment, but obviously
didn’t do an exhaustive search. Thanks for the link!
