Real life is Gran Turismo. As I’ve been watching more old Best Motoring segments, I’ve been noticing some overall similarities between the two. If someone said that Gran Turismo pulled inspiration from Best Motoring, I’d certainly believe them.

The Midget II first appeared in Gran Turismo 2, and returned for Gran Turismo 4,5, &6. Both 2 and 4 featured a one make race. Unfortunately , neither were on Tsukuba Circuit, as is featured in the Best Motoring clip.

Guess if it were too similar to best motoring it would be suspicious. Lawyers involved ;)
