TIL Microsoft Teams has a built in meme generator, in addition to a huge GIF library. I no longer have to use big words to communicate with co-workers.

Hell yeah it does.

I communicate in meme at work pretty frequently. In fact, I just made and sent an “Is This A Pigeon” meme minutes ago to someone asking if a drawing was good to go.

We only have Skype and I hate the fact that i can't embed memes and gifs in the chat.

I really don’t like Teams...

Skype is going away... so I bet you will be on teams pretty soon. I switched in February.

Wow, I feel like we only got that recently. I have teams installed on my work PC but it says that it's not enabled by the admin yet so maybe we'll get it soon...

I’m using Skype to teach my online trumpet lessons. It works well enough.

Skype works fine, MS Teams is a way to over complicate things for people that just want to video chat.

Most of our work communication goes over Slack which fully supports gifs, emoticons, etc. but does not have a meme generator that I know of. As the IT person I think it’s my duty to look in to that.
ETA: It does have one available. Now I have to decide whether to enable for everyone or just me. Hmmmm...

This was my very first post in Teams back in October.

Microsoft did buy skype for a reason, to ruin it for everybody.
