It’s the second day of my whenever-I-feel-like it extravaganza of random car brochures!
Today, I thought we would be a little more racy than truck campers and RVs and have gone for the 1986
Pontiac Firebird/Trans Am brochure! I particularly love how they go out of their way to deliberately mention nowhere in it how much horsepower any of the engines make because Malaise-era GM. Also 20,000km warranty? Isn’t that like...the break-in period nowadays? :P
Enjoy! :D

I know man, such technology! :P
I like how they specifically list ‘Outside left rear
view mirror’ as a safety option.....keeping in mind we drive ON the left here......so....why the heck are they mentioning a driver
’s side door mirror as an option when (excluding passenger side mirrors) at least a driver’s side mirror had been standard on pretty much every car since like....the ‘30s lol....

When giant beach umbrellas attack, the Trans Am is on your side.
Tey also specifically mention that backlit gauges are optional on the base trim and standard on the rest. And "control lumbar" is optional too, presumably meaning the lumbar controls you.

Haha.....I guess if not backlit....they’d be...frontlit...?

You have to hold a flashlight to see them, so yes!
