Trying to stay away from the vintage orange cars and convince myself of newer underappeciated ones that aren’t Audi’s. Would be a great in the city, as it is here, or out in the country. Suburbs and highways would be not enjoyable in a small sensible and fun car.

It would only be much fun in the city when traffic isn’t bad. Something like that would be perfect if your commute was on 2 lane country roads

Freeways are really only good for getting from point A to B as quickly and non dramatically as possible. As such in an ideal world you have an appliance for that work (personally,
that appliance would a Sonata for instance), and the old orange car for all other driving (I could name 6-10 cars in the sub $20k range that would fit the bill personally). All that is missing is disposable income
