No folding yesterday. The results for today, the first dual GPU day, are going to scare me...

New GPU tomorrow going In. I stepped down a gpu till then, so a 1.4 m ppd reduction. Well see if it's a bum gpu by then.

Ironic tradeoff, innit?

I’d like to think that wind and solar are saving humanity, but I’m currently living in the Midwest so I have a pretty good idea where my power is coming from...

Not really a trade off. Disease doesn’t spread rapidly in a healthy ecosystem. Getting rid of the disease doesn’t solve the underlying problems . Traditional solar panels and wind farms  are still a pretty “dumb” solutions. Easiest way out to make us all feel better.

Yikes! I get concerned if we use more than 6 kWh per day!

This is relatively light power usage. I don’t know how I would live on 6 kWh/day unless I lived in the cold and dark with no TV or Internet. Running a couple of computers 24/7 may be an issue here. I have switched all lights to LED, and most are smart bulbs so I don’t have to run them at full brightness. There may have been a lot of broiling/baking during this time as well.

I need to look around for phantom power draws and unplug what I can. I do have a ton of transformers plugged in, and they may not all be in use.
