My rain check expired a few days ago, but thankfully the store still accepted it. I wouldn’t normally ask for an extension, but these are weird times...

My wife won’t let me buy sourkraut because of the fart generation potential

One disaster avoided, but another one coming soon, from the looks of all those jars.

I’ve certainly bought lots of groceries for quarantine, including mass quantities of certain items I and/or my wife enjoy as guilty pleasures. B ut I fail to comprehend how anyone could want this much sauerkraut.

Saverne is the OG of supermarket kraut but 10 jars? Hardcore! Better have the TP stocked up!

My dad won’t eat the stuff, or anything similar to it like kimchi. He even made my mother use a bar fridge in the kitchen to keep all of the stinky stuff she likes to eat.

Well, as odd as this may sound, but usually one jar equals one meal. I like to make sandwiches with kraut on top, and usually eat part of the jar when I’m cooking and the rest with the sandwiches. The garlic dill variety is amazing, at least for those loons like me that like that kind of thing,

Cholula is delicious as well, but Tabasco is my “bread and butter” so to speak. Also that bottle makes me want to use the lid as a shift knob
. Is that weird? Something so pleasing about the wood bottle tops on cholula bottles.

I know what you mean. Sometimes I just want the tanginess of Frank’s instead of the more complex flavor of Cholula. I have at least a dozen hot sauces from around the world in my cupboard, so there’s always the perfect one to match the meal.
Shift knob? Great idea! Maybe on the top it, under glass or plastic and in place of the shift pattern, it should have the Cholula lady. However, I just found out that there are a ton of websites out there saying that she looks like Bob Saget, so, um, maybe not...
