They are indeed terrible chips. Needs like 24 hours to complete a grand total of one work unit.

I mean the Atom was designed to be cheap and power efficient... Is it any surprise they’re slow as c rap?

What client are you using? All I have is the web control.

Same client as you. Right click on the icon in your system tray and choose advanced client. Or something like that. You’ll see it.

Intel still has Atoms, though strangely, they are server chips (providing lots of weak cores) : https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us/en/ark/products/series/202693/intel-atom-processor-p-series.html
For the last few versions the desktop and mobile Atom processors have been branded Pentiums or Celerons though. There is supposed to be an i5 branded processor with one Sunny Cove/Ice Lake ( 10th generation Core), and four Tremont (the Atom used above) cores: https://www.tomshardware.com/news/intel-core-i5-l15g7-lakefield-cpu-rivals-qualcomm-snapdragon-835

Yeah, mine’s a Celeron N3150, but I still call it an Atom.
