I was inspired to bake today by the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! ; a s it turns out, homemade monkey bread is worth the 5+ hours to prepare, at least fresh from the oven.
Sure beats the 3 hours of !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! yesterday.

Five hours? See, this is why I don’t like cooking or baking. I much prefer eating.

I’m no fan of cooking, generally speaking, but baking something like this is worth an occasional splurge. It’s soooo good fresh from the oven, and back in the old world when I had co-workers around, I could get some acclaim from appreciative eaters.
And it was less than an hour of actual work, mostly just putzing around on the computer while waiting for the bread to rise.

The only monkey bread I’ve ever seen someone make started with canned biscuits. Waiting for dough to rise? Ludicrous!
