Right, then...
While responding to a comment from Pip Bip about the Dodge Rampage and Utes, an old memory from 1981 surfaced from beneath 39 years of rust, stale beer and impure thoughts: The Ford Durango. Behold!

I think the reason I remember this is that I saw one at the Ford dealer in Fresno when I went there with my folks to...I think we were giving my grandparents a ride to pick up their new 2.8 Mustang.
There’s no point to this story, just a bit of arcane history based on a more arcaner memory.

Can’t say I’ve ever seen one, and Fairmonts were common when I was a kid in the early 90s.
Also that article has so many seemingly random italics.
