I was browsing E9X M3s for sale when I came across !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .
This last model year E90 comes in Silverstone II metallic over black and red leather.
While the interior might not be to everyone’s like, I think we can agree on the transmission choice.
While you might not be sold on iDrive, it’s worked well for me. At just under 30k miles, this example really hasn’t been driven all that much.
!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , not that carries a lot of weight.
Looks like a pretty decent example for the price. It’s 16k less than I paid for mine, then again it’s 2020 and not 2014. So if you’re in the market for a 6MT E90 M3, this could be your car!

To answer your question, no.

Wow very NP

2 owners scares me a little, and mileage is almost scary low. This is one where I’d be more inclined to buy from an individual that I could speak with first. But nice price, still.

Need? No. Want? Yes.

Yeah, I’d want to see some history, but if I was in the market then I’d consider this one. Definitely consider it a NP. The first owner is about on par with the first owner of mine.

Did the sedan not get the carbon fiber bits?
![]() 04/08/2020 at 11:15 |

Don’t forget to ad the price of rod bearings!
Still a NP for me.
![]() 04/08/2020 at 11:18 |

The only standard carbon fiber bit the E92 M3 got was the roof, which wasn’t available on the E90. So to answer your question, no.

Eh, I wouldn’t worry about them unless the car had been tracked until around 60k. Even then, I talked to a guy who tracked his and had the bearings done and he said they were fine.
![]() 04/08/2020 at 11:28 |
|
True as that may be, I’d still want to have them done just for peace of mind.
![]() 04/08/2020 at 11:28 |

That’s fair.
![]() 04/08/2020 at 11:28 |

It’s okay though because the low mileage was 50% completed at WOT. Should be fine. No carbon build up at least. ;)

When you see it’s been in for brake pads more than once in it’s history, you have to start to wonder.
![]() 04/08/2020 at 11:32 |
|
You mean the brake fluid?
![]() 04/08/2020 at 11:34 |

I never balk at the first owner of a BMW being 3-4 years. Aligns perfectly with the lease term!
![]() 04/08/2020 at 11:38 |
|
I’ll have another go, but I would like a high mileage single owner E90M3 please.
![]() 04/08/2020 at 11:45 |
|
Nah, brake fluid flush isn’t and issue, that’s a time maintenance deal, I’m taking about pad replacement because the car has been tracked or ragged on. I didn’t see the history, that’s not too bad if it’s just been regular maintenance this far in its life.
![]() 04/08/2020 at 11:46 |
|
I didn’t see any indication that it had brakes replaced .
![]() 04/08/2020 at 12:09 |

M y friend’s e92 m3 had its rod bearings replaced at 40k miles. You could visibly see scarring on all of them...car was never tracked.
![]() 04/08/2020 at 12:09 |

Why are they all silver? Is that the only color they ever did these in?
![]() 04/08/2020 at 12:25 |
|
manual, iDrive, sunroof, red interior, yes.
![]() 04/08/2020 at 12:28 |

I’d go with the car wasn’t always warmed up properly; regardless, it’s all over whether or not you should get them replaced. I’m planning on doing mine around 60k.
![]() 04/08/2020 at 12:29 |

Don’t forget black! On a serious note, the color selection was quite lacking. One reason I’d want to buy a new BMW at some point is so I can throw money at them and tell them to paint it green.
![]() 04/08/2020 at 12:41 |

Too bad that assuming you had money to thrown you can't tell them not to give it fake engine noise in the cabin.
![]() 04/08/2020 at 12:57 |

That would indeed be the way to go.
![]() 04/08/2020 at 13:40 |

Probably the only M3 I have ever lusted after. That V8 is appealing and scary though at the same time.
![]() 04/08/2020 at 14:47 |

Glad to see it has the correct seats as well.
![]() 04/08/2020 at 19:56 |

Didn’t one of the M3's have a troublesome transmission? (SPG? Something like that?) Or am I thinking of something else?
![]() 04/08/2020 at 21:39 |

SMG? Not this generation, you're thinking of the previous generation.

That’s it! Thanks for the beta...

I think this one is The Deal at the moment.
![]() 04/09/2020 at 10:29 |
|
That’s a deal, if I make a job change soon and get a bunch more money, I might be tempted.
That said the move is to have your E90 M3 paid off before you get laid off. Ask me how I know that.
![]() 04/09/2020 at 12:25 |

If that was a manual, I’d be having a serious chat with my wife.

I feel the same way, if the auto market hadn’t flatlined and I was still making money, I would have purchased this vehicle fair and square.
