Ha! This is such a pretty song in all ways. The youtube channel i took this from had a comment that this would have been a perfect record in 1984, and I agree. Not quite Big Star level, but Game Theory "Real Nightime" and "Big Shot Chronicles" were great BigStar-y 80s albums

I’ll have to check them out, I went pretty far down the Alex Chilton rab bit hole. I can’t claim to understand “third”, but I enjoy most of it, and most of Alex’s solo work. I’ve got C hris Bell’s album too but haven’t given it a dedicated listen, I now have time.
