Hyundai has just announced a Palisade N featuring 400hp from its V6! On top of that, a limited edition 6 speed manual will be released! Here are the pictures released today:
As you can see, it gets a lot of styling from the Veloster N. But wait, there’s more. The brand will also release a Nexo N!
April Fool’s (if you thought it was real)! These are renderings from the N division’s Instagram page. Though I could see a Palisade N as a future competitor to the Explorer ST.

Who’s Hyundai trying to fool? This Palisedan is no Sedan. In fact, it looks an awful lot closer to their Palisade SUV!

Hah! I’d love to see those clamoring for a manual option on all vehicles receive the blessing/curse of a 10-speed manual. Then they can shift like a Fast and Furious race scene, at least until they get carpal tunnel syndrome.

Agreed. Sometimes I miss the 4-speeds in my first few cars. I currently drive a van with a 6-speed and sometimes I find myself just skipping gears if the revs are high enough. I don’t believe in dawdling on to the freeway, so I floor it and zip up to redline, then shift from third to sixth, when I’m doing 70-80 MPH .
What I really look forward to is having an electric car. Torque everywhere and no shifting. Not in the sense of an automatic, which I don’t particularly like when driving aggressively , but no shifting whatsoever by human or machine. Once more people experience driving this way they won’t want to go back.

I’ve never driven an electric car, but I’m interested in doing so. I’m sure I’ll own one before I’m done.
