They are complying with social distancing orders and have an interesting zoned system in place to limit unnecessary interaction between drivers, safety crew and film crew... I kinda have to admit I am really digging this.

Oh, I have. Cleetus is probably the most likable redneck on Youtube, and the transformation of the abandoned DeSoto raceway has been pretty cool to see. That burnout pad is epic. I mean I'm not even much into burnout and drift, but the enthusiasm and hard work is infectious.

I’m not sure about his other content but his genuine enthusiasm for renovating that old track is pretty fun to watch.

There’s an awful lot of “ ‘murica!” , it’s true, but they also really seem to have fun and build some silly shit... I mean at least they aren’t all up in the “muh guns!” shit, though I have been getting more youtube recs. for crazy 2nd am endment guntard videos since i’ve been watching Cleetus... More so than from watching Ian on For gotten Weapons/In Range and Mae and Othias on C&Rsenal, or even Taufleder maus and Demolition Ranch (Matt was originally on the driver list for the F500, but dropped/chickened out )

They are fun, and I’m not saying they are bad guys, but my daily limit of redneck-ness is already close to the top due to where I live. Vice Grip Garage and the like are fine but Cleetus is just too much.

I love the history of technology and that includes weapons so you can imagine how YouTube’s algorithm looks at that. My YouTube home screen looks like an NRA convention.

Can’t remember who posted about this guy when he bought the racetrack, but I found his from here on Oppo and I’ve watched every video since. I absolutely love what he’s doing and I’m jealous for sure.

Cleetus is literally the Larry the Cable Guy of cars. They both are Midwesterners with a redneck act. Not that I'm complaining. Also, IIRC Larry also migrated to Florida.
