Better idea: extend the offer to pay them to act as volunteer healthcare providers in a hard-hit city. I’m sure with a little training they could do basic tasks to help out the nurses, and with “ luck” they’ll get exposed along the way.

Right now it's 25%. They had chicken pox treatment down pretty well in 1990, and had deaths relatively minimized, which we absolutely don't for covid. But you're probably right, in that it will end up being a much smaller percentage than 25 when this is all said and done
