I’m not sure she cared for being sniffed back.

That dog looks ripped.

These two would agree

She’s definitely still built like an elite athlete even a year after leaving the track.

They look like they’re very focused on something too.

There’s a meme here, just waiting for happy hour to be born.

They seem to be staring towards the cat hoarder’s house. Strange behavior for a sight-hound, don’t you think? It’s not as if they go crazy over anything small and furry like a cat.

Oddly enough until the last few weeks the cat has been more interested in Ruby then she has been in him. They’ve lived together almost a year, and she’s just started checking him out at all.
She’s also become a huge toy fiend recently which is a change too.

Yeah! Can you even walk her? Or is everything a run?

She enjoys a daily tear through the backyard, but she is fantastic on a leash. She stays right by my side.
I do occasionally get her up to a trot because she looks so happy and graceful.

That dog looks skinny.

Believe it or not she’s put on almost 10lbs since we got her. She was skin and bones, but she’s looking great now.

She’s got epic deltoids.

When she squats down when she’s ready to run she looks like the pictures you see of buff kangaroos.

Our latest animal, which I am not convinced is actually a dog -- maybe kangaroo, maybe frog, definitely cray-cray -- is incredibly athletic, like a gymnast and if I had any skills — or patience — at training her, she’d probably be brilliant.

Captions, in order:
*WHO ARE YOU. What do you think you’re doing in MY house?!
*Hmm, maybe we’ll be friends, or maybe I’ll EAT you for a snack! I’m bigger than you, you know.
* OH GOD IT’S SNIFFING ME WHAT DO I DO

I really need to get Ruby into some training. There’s a local dog training club that I plan to join with her when they have an opening in their beginner’s class.
I love that face.

They’ve been around each other almost a year now, and I think they’re going to actually end out being friends.
We have a second cat that has taught her what they can do with their razor paws of death. I think that for awhile that had her cautious when this cat wanted to get close to her.

I call this animal Mad Maxine. But her name is Fiona. She doesn’t know how to ride in a car or go for a walk or bark. She’s a nutcase.
