“Parents of infants are often up in the middle of the night and sometimes there’s literal poop involved. How can we simplify their lives?”
“I dunno, buttons, maybe? But how many?”
“We need a shit-ton of them! As tiny and fiddly as possible."

Snaps, dammit. Gimme the snaps!

Snaps are better than buttons, but those pull-over-the-big-baby-head designs are awesome. I can’t remember how many times my boys woke up with their sleepers snapped all wrong because I was only semi-coherent at 3 am.

I’m team zipper, all the way. The ones that unzip from the foot are ideal.
I'm not sure we personally have ever bought infant clothes for either of our kids. They're all hand-me-downs or gifts. It's basically onesie roulette.

Nope, zipper!

...velcro?

Yes! They should unzip from the foot, not the chest.

Aren’t all onesie in a perpetual onesie roullette? I don’t think I bought any ones new.

I’ve realized almost all onesie can be slipped over the shoulders and down the body. Reduces baby parts that get covered in poop.

It’s a losing battle.
God, I love this ad.

Velcro is too noisy for middle of the night changes when you are trying not to wake up the spouse/other kids/dogs.

Had too many times where that damn zipper tab gets caught in the fabric when it is down.

While this is true it is also ideal for half-asleep people to open and close. I think there are silent velros in development/in use in military applications.

Magnetic closure. Baby sticks to fridge and now you know where they are :)
j/k

Can confirm all of those little buttons suck. But get the ones that cover the legs and feet. That way you don’t worry about loosing tiny socks.

I hate the buttons i would literally argue with the wife when she put the clothes with the thousand buttons.

I love it - Stealth Babies!
And I’m not saying the snaps always get resnapped properly in the middle of the night, but the job gets done. lol
