My wife and I went to the grocery store today. I’ve never seen a store so picked over. No bread, eggs, rice or flour. Plenty of liquor and beer though, thanks God.

It didn’t rain on me while I rode around the lake. We found a good online stream to watch Mass, and dinner was made for me. Yes, a good day indeed.

A day without rain truly can be a blessing. It still seems surreal to me the way society has changed to combat this virus. I can't recall anything like this happening for bird flu, swine flu, Sars, etc.

Cheap rum, Dewar’s Scotch,
Tito’s Vodka and Founders IPA. Since all bars, including my local brew pub, are closed in Ohio, I’ve got to stock up. I’m hoping the owner will be open for at least carry out beer. If not, I’m going to really miss there great IPA’s over the next few weeks.

No, this is an all new experience. We now seem to believe we’ve advanced to the point where no patient needs to be sacrificed, and it’s raised the bar considerably.
