Smol dering Texas post oak and rendering beef fat
Know what’s not the smartest idea? Waking up early to smoke a brisket the day daylight savings takes effect.
Got the leaf washed and somewhat waxed. I’ll get another good wash and a better wax on there once the driveway is redone in a few weeks

How do you like your leaf? I still want an i3, but the leaf like $5 used.
Any issues with it?
Also, that meat....God damn

My favorite thing about autocross is the smell of race rubber and carburated engines

I love it. I recommend it, wholeheartedly, in a very specific context: as a commuter. They've depreciated so much because they have 100 miles of range. And that 100 miles in ideal traffic conditions, with no climate control on, etc. My commute is 54, and we have other gas vehicles. Could it be a primary car? I'd be nervous. As a commuter/around town runabout? Hell yeah, it's great

Should definitely be smoldering...

I do love the smell of gasoline!
Not as much as the smell of smoking meat, though.

Yeah, I'm basically looking for 50 miles a day. We'd still have 3(!) Gas powered cars for fun, cruising and longer distances

For me, the smell of catless exhaust and hot brakes is the smell of summer.

I threw some chicken on the grill for fajitas last night. So tasty. Think I'll put some leftovers in some scrambled eggs, make breakfast fajitas. Mmmmm

Anytime I smell rich exhaust I think of riding quads with my dad and brothers out in the Arizona desert.

Oh man, that’s beautiful.

Same! Pilot for kid hauling, Miata for fun, truck for whatever's left. I think it's the perfect addition to a fleet

Its distinctive, I think, and not often smelled, and usually when doing something fun. Just lends itself to positive association

Thats what I left best: steak and eggs with leftover smoked brisket

From the thumbnail I thought you were saying a trash can smelled good and I clicked on this out of morbid curiosity.
