Regular plates, not diplomat.
Looked exactly like that. How is it here on regular tags?
Also, saw these two at the grocery store during my latest venture out to disaster prep

Cant speak for the cactus but the Tesla Cybertruck looks much less controversial in the wild.

I never did out the resemblance together until you mentioned it. Cyber truck and H3T are cousins!

That’s crazy! Where in VA did you see it?

Regular Virginia plates? I could imagine it being registered in Mexico.

The H3T was actually a pretty good truck (though I’ve heard the IFS was a weak point) that came out at the wrong time. It also looks pretty good stock without that terrible slant back cap
They look even better with just a few aftermarket parts

Next time I expect much better pics of that Jeep! Nay, I demand them!

Cruising through Vienna! Passed me at a 4-way stop, so I got a good look at it. Regular blue letters on white plate VA tags

Yup. Blue letters on white plate standard VA

I don't mind the slant top. First pick you posted could be a gladiator for all I know

It wasn't it the greatest shape. The bushes are doing it a favor

NATO members stationed in the US are issued local plates/registration, but they do not surrender their certificate of title/nor are they issued a US title if the vehicle can’t be permanently imported.

Just to clarify you sure it didn’t have a Michigan “ M” plate? They have a press car.

Yeah, it was at a 4-way stop, so I got a good look. Local regular plates

Are we dent- shaming now? What happened to the body positivity movement?

It was the Gladiator before it was cool. Like I said, it really just came out at the wrong time. GM seems to be great at that and they’re too quick to kill these things too because of it.

Its wood trim was falling off in some places. That's just indecent. Keep your bits covered!

I saw a classic Gladiator resplendent in 70s brown yesterday, but no picture sadly

I remember the first time I spotted a Gladiator (or at least a J-series) in the wild. About got whiplash, but unfortunately I couldn’t easily turn around to give chase.
I’m sure there were more around when I was younger, but it took me too many years to discover my Jeep fetish. All that wasted time.

I can probably explain the Cactus.
According to my friend who moved to the states to work, you can temporarily import your non-USDM car, and drive it there on regular US plates. But, as soon as you leave the US (i.e are no longer employed in the US), your car has to leave with you. You also can’t sell it or otherwise dispose of it in the US; the car is tied to your green card.

Interesting!
