Like Matt Farrah said on the Joe Rogan podcast, modern Ferrari ( 458 Italia and up) are indeed extremely reliable vehicles. Not overly filled with high tech creature comfort stuff helps. The DCT gearbox was indeed the cherry on top for quality compared to the old F1 gearboxes. Engines not having timing belts anymore is also a plus. Downsides are only effects of not being driven. All in all, they are very solid machines that only demand to be driven to their full potential all the time.

Ferrari dealerships have zero inventory cars unlike Lambo and McLaren. Every single new car is made to order. Every customer goes through our atelier room to build their car.

At the Christmas party for the company I was recognized along with a couple coworkers for 20 years at the company. Got a $5,000 bonus for that, which is meant as a vacation cash. Most guys end up putting it in their house.

I’m coming up on 10 years of marriage on St Patrick’s day. I’ll be 40 before the end of the year. Kids are 9 & 7. I’ll be headed to the Indy 500 with Shop-Teacher this year. I’ll be going to California in June near Tahoe for a cousins wedding. But mostly the daily grind.

Are you referring to the F160? Because as far as I’m concerned, they can kill the F160 and I co uldn’t care less.

But I would love to see the V6 version of the F154 from the Alfa Romeo in a lightweight sports car. Even make it front engine, maybe. That would be awesome.

Age is catching up to my truck finally, it needs a bunch of little things ... Plus the rockers have rotted out. On the docket today is an oil change and some fresh power steering fluid. I’m going to have the rocker s redone this summer. It’ll cost me a grand, but I want all the metal back, this being my family hauler and all.
