Is that cam-lock tool also a bottle opener? When the job is done, crack open a cold one...

P. S. Those aren’t reverse thread or anything silly like that are they? Drive a larger torx into the reamed out hex?

Th ats correct. Flyin Miata purposely designed it that way. 

Nothing has indicated that they are reverse thread. My first time so idk.
