He has sold a fair number of SCG003s, and they sold half the 2020 production run of Boots the day after the Baja 1000. So maybe in a few more years they won’t be relying on his bank account. I view it like an early Ferrari, selling road cars only to fund the race cars.

From what I’ve read they plan on being there no matter what, supposedly with a customer car as well.
