Thought about doing some long post about how Oppo has been my internet home the past 7 years but never got around to writing it out. I’ll miss this place, and I’ve signed up for the life rafts, but I’m also ok with moving on.
I think we all knew this couldn’t last forever, all the same it feels too soon
. It’s been real. I'll see y'all on the other side.

I actually still own all the cars I’ve ever personally owned (4 total) . Motorcycles not so much. All the cars I drove in highschool/college summers were still owned by may parents so those don’t count.

I’m fairly confident that only one of the vehicles I’ve ever owned, but no longer do, is still running. I run them into the ground.

My first vehicle, a ‘93 F150 is getting really rough, while the drivetrain is solid, everything else is shot. It doesn’t drive straight and every little bump changes where you need to point the steering wheel. There is a lot of slop in the steering, like 1/4 turn to make any changes, driving down a straight road looks like those shitty movie scenes where the driver is sawing the wheel on a straight road.
The body is rusting to oblivion. Cab corners are gone, wheel arches are bad, the floor is breaking off on the driver side, and the tailgate hinge is nearly done for.
I still love it though and even if I did want to sell it I wouldn’t feel comfortable selling it for anything I’d consider worth my time. I plan on keeping it and hopefully restoring it someday. I at least have room to store it for it for now.

See ya on the Hyphen I guess. You have owned the coolest cars and know how to get that across in photos too! I love that livery on the Taco. Did you do that yourself?
