I always like to recommend the cool cars they get that we don’t get down here in the US, such as:

Echo hatchback (we only got the sedan), and also, they got the Yaris hatchback a few years before we did. Canada got it from the very beginning, while we didn’t get the Yaris 4-door hatch until 2009. They even have sporty RS models that were never sold here. The Echo even came in an awesome gold color I do n’t think we got down here, and I don’t think the cool blue was available here, either. I’d love a manual Echo RS hatch in blue or gold and add a Webasto sunroof to it.

Mazda 5 and Kia Rondo
The US only got the first-gen Rondo, and only with an automatic. Canada got both generations, and with manual or auto.
Mazda stopped selling the 5 with a manual a long time ago, and before that, relrgated it to the base model. That means the US only got sunroof and manual for a few years, while Canada got that choice throughtout the whole run.

non-electric B-Class
I know Mercedes doesn’t make the best cars, but the B-Class is really cool. We only got the electric B for a few years, while Canada got it much longer and with regular engines, turbo or NA, and yes, manual or auto

Merced es has a few other cars up there that we don’t get, like the A-class hatch and the C-class wagon, which is also cool. But my favorite is the B

Chevy Orlando
Another 7-passenger MPV thing like the 5 and Rondo that we never got. Sometimes you can even get them for cheap, too. If you’re lucky, you’ll find one with a manual AND a sunroof, but this seems to be very very rare. If you don’t need a sunroof, manual Orlandos are reasonably available, and even if you do want one, Webasto can probably hook you up

Nissan Micra
A really cute awesome lil car that doesn’t cost a lot. Under 10k in Canadian dollars, while the cheapest car in the US is almost double that (13k in US dollars)! It looks cool, too.

Nissan X-Trail
This was offered in the mid-2000s for a few years in Canada. Yeah it’s cool.

Mazda 323 Neo
1995-only, a 2-door hatchback version of the BH Protege of the mid-late 90s.

The Nissan Axxess was offered until 1995 in Canada, while we only got it for 1990 in the US.

Honda has offered a panoramic sunroof on teh CR-V since 2017 in Canada, but not down here. Honda was supposed to offer it starting 2020 here, but it doesn’t seem to be available in the US yet.

Hyundai Elantra GT
Canada gets an exclusive orange color not available in the US, and until last year, you could even get an awesome huge panoramic sunroof with the manual in orange , for 22k Canadian. Down here, it’s automatic-only and starts at 27k US if you want the big sunroof (which you do), and you still can;t get it in orange! WTF?

Honda offers base models of cars we don’t get down here. a Civic DX, a Fit DX, and the Civic Sport hatchback has a sunroof up there (we only get it on the Sport Touring), and the Sport Touring manual hatchback comes in more colors in Canada, while down here it’s only available in a few, boring, colors

There are possibly more such cars available in Canada not sold in the US

It’s not a real Toyota, so I don’t care about it lol
