Protip: if your browser blocks cross-site cookies by default, like Safari, you’ll have to disable that to authenticate against any non-kinja.com domain using a kinja.com cookie.

Yeah, I’d heard there were fixed bu didn’t care enough to bother. The comment section there is a hellsc ape of idiocy so it  was better to just stay away.
