Looks like a second gen Prairie to me...
(Googles )
Yes, same thing. It was the Axxess in North America but the Prairie to the rest of us.

I last saw one of these about 5 years ago at a trendy restaurant. Before that I hadn’t seen one since I was a child.

I always liked the Axxess/Prairie. Shame about the silly wheels on this example.

The Axxess is awesome! Too bad it only lasted one year here (although Canada got it for 5 more).
These cute lil minivans are the best! The Axxess, the Expo, the Mazda 5, Kia Rondo, Chevy Orlando, and even the
SWB Transit Connect (which we don’t get in passenger form anymore, but we used to)

If I recall, these were a one year only thing in the US (90 or 91), but lived longer in Canada.

I’m with you on all of those except the Orlando. It just doesn’t have that
something
to me, I regard it as just a bland slightly larger
transport car.

Maybe the Orlando is bland, but we didn’t get it here. They sold it in Canada, though, and they
could even get it with a manual transmission!
Yeah, Canada is better about offering manual 7-seaters than we get down here. Anytime a Canadian asks for suggestions buying a car, I like to recommend the cool stuff we don’t get down here. They also got the second gen Rondo, while we only got the first, and we never got manual rondos,
while they did.

They were pretty good little vans. Even had an awd version if my memory serves me correctly
