Well, that’s something I’ve never seen before.
A !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! flies alongside a Canadair CL-41R. Registered CF-LTX-X, the 41R was a !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! two-seat trainer that was fitted with a Starfighter nose for weapons systems training.

Wow...
that’s weird....lol
FYI the Tutor is what Canada’s Snowbirds acrobatic team flies!

Yes! I saw them at a show in TX back in 2012. It was a nice, polite demonstration. They need to retire the Tutor, though. It’s old, and one of their pilots died recently because of the old ejection seat.

Yes, I remember that accident awhile back....sad stuff. I was reading about it and I think they are supposed to be replaced after 2030 now...

That seems like a long time to wait.

Agreed...they are supposedly to be upgraded with modern avionics, ejection seats and airframe upgrades in the meantime though.

Hardly seems worth it. Put em in some legacy CF-18s or Hawks. The Hawk seems like the best candidate if they want to maintain their slow show.
