Expanding all those threads took a looong time.

Using the Save Page WE extension in Firefox.

The CSS itself on a post page takes more than 100kb...

If the module exports every image and “imgset”, it will save the images in multiple sizes and use plenty of space in the process.

ps: i will try to continue on my script tomorrow if i have the motivation.

Holy cow. That’s a multi-generational type post.

I once held the record for most comments on a post at a forum I once inhabited. It ran on for over three months continuously and ran out of steam somewhere over 400 . It was crazy.

Wait, I have a question about Save Page WE. Do you have to go into each individual post to save it? And will it still be there after Oppo dies completely (and how do we know it will) ? I downloaded the extension but I just fear I’ll save something and then it’ll die because Kinja does.

Yes, you do. It’s saving the whole contents of the page as an HTML file offline. Internal l inks to other OPPO posts, etc., won’t work once everything’s wiped, but everything else will be there.
