Wheels? Yes, I have all of them.

I only have one question: why?
Just look at how exposed and fragile looking that front steering linkage looks. I would be worried about the durability of it.

Pretty sure it’s a mod. I looked up the car, and there was no mention of an 8-wheel version.

No, I wouldn’t expect an OEM to be that crazy. Looks pretty well made but not quite well made enough. Those fenders with the point facing down between the wheels is also an interesting touch.

There must have been some point to that. If it’s Photoshop, it withstands a bit of scrutiny.

Pretty sure it’s not. There are other photos of it.

Tyrrell? He has them all but they are too small. It seems out of scale. That has to be the builder. He hol ds the door open oddly, using a cloth, [or his beret?] to not get fingerprints on the glass. Is it French? The plates hint at Hungary.

German. It’s a 1935 Adler Diplomat, built in Frankfurt. Wiki has an article on the car, and there is no mention of an eight-wheeled version. So this must be some sort of mod. There are more photos of it here .

Plus, they didn’t have Photoshop back then.

Don’t tell that to the Soviets...

They’d have had to work much harder at it.

tire durability was nowhere near what it is today. Also a much longer wheelbase may be a smoother ride.

Maybe, but weight isn’t good for tire durability either. Might be marginal gains but then you also have increased fuel consumption as a result.
