We had a good snow fall Saturday and Sunday.
I went out to brush the vehicles off, to be ready for work tomorrow. There was 12" on the open ground and 14-24" in the dead zones. Took about an hour to shovel from the house to the truck, and brush both my truck and my dad work van off.

The kids here would love love love that kind of snow fall. But our city would shut down entirely.

Normally this would slow traffic down for tomorrow but I think the city is sending out every plow they have, as we have civic elections on Monday.

I just shovelled my walkway. I think we’re putting the blade on the work quad tomorrow so we can clear out our driveways. Holy smokes are the roads dicey tonight.

good thing the city chose to do that of their own accord, or else getting to the civic elections would be a real odyssey.
