That’s a good point, especially in a place as historically corrupt as NY (not that most of if not all of the country is as equally corrupt, just in different ways).   But some state leadership types have been so put off by the regime, that I think they’ll do more than in the past.

I’ll take the new VP over the old one, no matter the new flaws.

That’s assuming he doesn’t end up in jail, or at least convicted of one or more felonies... it may not technically prevent him from running, but how likely are even his cronies to vote for a convicted felon?
