The paint on my Accord’s hood is pretty chipped and scratched, there were a few rust spots but I filled those in with touch up, and some small dents. The front bumper is also pretty chipped up and scratched up. The rear one has a hole in it, and also has paint falling off the bottom. I have access to a pretty big air compressor, would it be worth buying a paint gun and some paint & primer and repainting the hood? I thought about getting new bumpers and painting those, but I think I might try to pick some fresher ones from the junkyard and paint those if they aren’t the same color.
Im also down the street from a paint store, I could see if they could mix up some Nighthawk Black for it.

automotive refinish is a seemingly simple concept until one without experience tries it. It’s also a pricey affair to risk poor DIY results.

That is what I figured, if I'm gonna do it I may as well pay to have it done right
